Walid Cherfa ((アラビア語:وليد شرفة); born 19 February 1986 in Toulouse, France) is an Algerian footballer who plays for Toulouse Rodéo FC as a left defender. ==Football career== A Toulouse FC youth graduate, Cherfa appeared sparingly for the first team during the 2006–07 season in Ligue 1, subsequently serving a stint with third division team Tours FC. In August 2008, he moved to Spain, joining Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the second division. On 23 June 2010, after two seasons being sparingly used, he signed a 1+1 deal with another club in the country and category, Girona FC.〔(Fichan a Cherfa y dimite el presidente Josep Gusó (Cherfa is signed and president Josep Gusó resigns) ); Mundo Deportivo, 23 June 2010 〕 In January 2011, without having appeared officially for Girona, Cherfa rescinded his contract with the Catalans and joined Albacete Balompié, also in the Spanish second level.
